IP Publishing House and Ant Group's Sesame Enterprise Credit jointly issue the certificate under group standard T/CEEAS 015 2026, with iFlytek's T90 PRO and Walnut Programming first; applications run through Alipay.
China's first "product-level" technical strength evaluation service went live on September 9 at the 2026 China Intellectual Property Annual Meeting, but the certificate rests on an industry group standard, not a national GB standard. The service is jointly issued by Intellectual Property Publishing House, a unit directly under the National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), and Sesame Enterprise Credit, part of Ant Group.
The standard in question is T/CEEAS 015-2026, a group standard published by CEEAS. It scores products across three dimensions: technology, economy, and time-effectiveness. Successful applicants receive a joint electronic certificate. Companies with patent reserves can apply through Alipay by searching "芝麻企业信用" (Sesame Enterprise Credit).
The first two products certified under the new service are both consumer education hardware: the iFlytek AI Learning Machine T90 PRO and Walnut Programming. The granular shift, from evaluating companies (typically by patent count) to evaluating individual products, is the more substantive change the service introduces.
For buyers, procurement teams, and brand marketers, the open question is whether the certificate becomes a meaningful procurement or tendering signal, or settles into a marketing endorsement. The launch materials carry no independent testing, no published scoring rubric excerpts, and no third-party IP or credit-industry voices, all of which would be needed before the certificate can be weighed against existing enterprise credit and technical evaluation systems.
