Agent OS lets ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants read account data and place trades, with each agent isolated in its own subaccount so it cannot touch the rest of the user's funds.
Binance is now letting AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude read its market data, see account balances, and place trades on a user's behalf. Each agent runs in its own subaccount, isolated from the rest of the user's funds, so a misbehaving agent can only drain what it has been assigned.
The platform, called Agent OS, sits inside Binance Intelligence, the company's AI-product umbrella. It bundles the exchange's existing APIs with a Wallet Agentic Hub, programmable payments (x402), a Skill Hub, and new support for the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, an emerging open standard that lets compatible AI apps plug into external tools. Initial MCP coverage is market data, read-only account information, and trade placement, with users setting per-agent permissions and able to revoke them. Ready-made integrations cover ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
Jeff Li, Binance's VP of Product, called the launch a response to fragmented agentic-finance tooling, the category Binance is staking out where AI assistants act on a user's behalf inside financial accounts rather than only answering questions about them. The press release is the only source on what was announced. Adoption, security posture, and whether other major exchanges copy the per-agent subaccount model are still open questions; the underlying release is a Binance-issued document distributed via PRNewswire and republished by ANI News.
