Falcon, a new AI powered firm in Ghent and Brussels, has a 24 hour contract review turnaround, three published pricing tiers, and a former Allen & Overy global senior partner as founding advisor.
A new Belgian firm will review your contracts and return plain-English redlines within 24 hours for a flat monthly fee between about $1,100 and $5,500 (€1,000 to €5,000), with a named qualified lawyer signing off on every output. NDAs and template-based documents are free and unlimited.
Falcon Law launched on 1 October in Ghent and Brussels with €1.5 million (about $1.65M) in pre-seed funding. A 45-minute intake call builds a "playbook" of the client's risk appetite and red lines. Clients drop contracts into Slack or Microsoft Teams; the system reviews each one against the playbook and returns a plain-English summary, flagged risks, and redlines; a human lawyer reviews and signs. No hourly billing, no back-billing. Three published tiers: Rise at €1,000 a month (about $1,100) for up to six tasks, Climb at €3,000 (about $3,300) for up to 20, and Peak at €5,000 (about $5,500) for up to 40, with a priority lane.
The founding advisor frames the legal sector as "due its neo-bank moment" and says the billable hour "still rewards firms for the time that work takes."
Co-founder Quinten Vandermeulen calls Falcon "not a co-pilot that helps a lawyer go faster" but "an autopilot with a lawyer's name attached." That pitch is also the counterargument: a human lawyer still signs every output, €1.5M is small, and "burying the billable hour" is the firm's stated thesis rather than a market outcome. EUR figures use an approximate $1.10-per-euro rate.
