Anthropic has placed an unreleased feature called "Hub Mode" inside Claude's mobile app, but flipping the toggle does nothing yet. Product scout TestingCatalog spotted the planet-icon setting in a recent build of the iOS app and shared the screenshot on X. The toggle is marked internal and has no functional effect when enabled.
The more concrete evidence sits in Claude Code on the web, the browser-based coding product rather than the consumer chat app. There, a Hub destination lists sub-agents: specialized AI helpers designed to run focused tasks alongside a main Claude conversation. Selecting one opens a page stating that Claude will generate a task board for the user and their agents.
The strings on screen sketch a multi-agent orchestration dashboard, the kind of interface where a user launches and monitors several AI workers at once. TestingCatalog frames it as a "command center" pivot. Anthropic has not commented, has not announced the feature, and has not published documentation. The Hub Mode toggle and the Hub destination both read as ship-pending UI, staged on user devices before the underlying functionality exists.
A similar planet icon previously appeared under the name Orbit before Anthropic removed it, which suggests Hub Mode is a successor to that earlier concept rather than a wholly new direction. The leak is real. The product is not.
